The HathiTrust Research Center is led by an Executive Management Team that includes

- Beth Plale (Co-director and chair), Data To Insight Center director and professor in the School of Informatics and Computing at Indiana University
- Robert McDonald, Indiana University Associate Dean of Libraries
- Beth Sandore Namachchivaya, Associate University Librarian for Information Technology Planning & Policyat the University of Illinois
- John Unsworth, Vice Provost for Library & Technology Services and Chief Information Officer at Brandeis University
The Executive Management Team reports to the HathiTrust Board of Governors . Laine Farley, of the HathiTrust Board, is the official liason between the boards.
Advisory Board
The Advisory Board, composed of a broad-based set of researchers and administrators, has been selected to provide guidance and advise to the HathiTrust Research Center. Members include:
