Focus group participants needed for paid ebook study

Earlier this year, we announced our collaboration with the University of California Libraries to undertake a landmark research project around the future of digital books – Project LEND is exploring the potential to improve and expand the lawful use of digital books to support research and education, and paving the way for national infrastructure to support such services.  HathiTrust’s participation in this project will help us plan future digital library services that can meet these needs.

A critical part of this study is to engage directly with users and better understand how they would optimally use digital books. We are seeking faculty, staff, postdocs, and graduate students to participate in the first phase of this user research [NOTE:  we are not yet seeking undergraduate subjects.]

We will be inviting individuals to participate in focus groups that will take place online (via Zoom) and last approximately 1.5 hours. Participants will receive a $75 Amazon e-gift card.
