New Board of Governors Members Begin in 2024

We are pleased to announce several new members of the Board of Governors who will begin their terms January 1, 2024. Ping Fu, Library Director and College Librarian at Whitman College, will join Holly Jeffcoat of Southern Methodist University, who was elected by members earlier this fall. Also joining the Board is Steve Mandeville-Gamble, University Librarian at UC Riverside, appointed by University of California to replace Ginny Steele of University of California Los Angeles (UCLA), who is retiring after five-and-a-half years on the Board and Executive Committee. Lorrie McAllister will become dean of the Joan and Donald E. Axinn Library at Hofstra University on January 1 and is unable to serve her elected term 

We wish Lorrie and Ginny well and welcome Ping and Steve to the HathiTrust Board of Governors! Thanks to our Member Representatives for participating in the voting process this year and for ongoing member support in guiding HathiTrust to the future.
