Institution Identifiers
The table below shows the mapping of the identifiers HathiTrust uses internally for institutions and organizations, to the names of those entities. This identifier is constructed from the institution-specific part of the domain name. For non-institution special cases, the identifier is prefixed with “ht_”.
These identifiers are used in HathiTrust METS files to identify content providers, responsible entities, and digitization sources. They are also used to identify PREMIS linking agents within those METS files. Members may also receive reports or files that use the following institution codes.
